A study by researchers at the University of Arizona looked into the ways in which germs and viruses spread, largely due to the multiple contact of items by lots of workers. The office environment is high on the list of shared kitchens that can have very loose, or non-existent, cleaning schedules (second only to university share houses and the dreaded backpacker hostel).
